:bulletblue: Yes, yes, another weak photo of mine. Just pass by...

:bulletblue: This one is the visible part of an ants' nest under the sidewalk. The ants do it all the time in Poland during the summer, is it like that abroad?
I was on a walk with my boyfriend and I almost stepped in it. It amazed me that it's in the shape of a heart and before I remembered, I got my phone out, taking a photo.

:bulletblue: I swear it wasn't made by me! It's the ants! Thus it's put in the "Miscellaneous" category of Plans and Animals instead of Conceptual, 'cause it wasn't pre-made.

This definitely caught my heart, especially knowing it's just a precious bit of nature that got your attention :)
To answer your question, yes, there are ants' nests finding their way up the cracks and crevices in the sidewalk during summer here, too - but I guess it's not so surprising, considering we're geographical neighbors ;)

But the reason the picture caught my heart is that such a sight always reminds me of how persevering and vital nature really is. Seeing a few blades of grass creeping up the tiniest crack in the asphalt can make my day and give me strenght. This is something similar :)

Thank you for sharing.
