I had this moment of "I want to draw. INSPIRATION, NOW!" moment recently, and I went through deviantART to see if there's anything that would inspire me. I decided I wanted to draw Iulis, and I found this one beautiful piece [link] with an angel. And while I was there, I thought - maybe he'll be sitting on a lamp, like Chii in Chobits often does?
So I searched for lamps. And this is what I found: [link]

Shading was tricky. ~leniwykocur suggested to add a foreground lamp to make it more realistic with the lil' bit of backlight I had, and I thought why not, having a foregound is always good for composition.
Not having a solid, black lineart proved to be a bit hard, but I think I managed. I'm mostly proud of the wings <3

This is very good, the wings are fantastic and the colouring is beautiful.
