Influence Map

Description

I don't know why I always do memes A YEAR LATE.
Maybe I wait for them to mature and get ripe before I take a bite.

Anyway, my influence map! Consists of less shiny pretty kawaii things you probably expect.

:pointr: Sailor Moon - it was aired in Poland about the time I started drawing, probably. It's the cause I do animanga!
:pointr: Pokemon - I'm an adulat and still can name probably about 100 of the first series. Still play. I drew, watched, singed and obsessed over Pokemon. They thought me to draw things... remotely animal like.
:pointr: Beyblade - influenced maybe not exactly my artstyle, but totally my life. See the "Mizuhara" in my username? That's the surname of this character! First one I fangirled over. I wrote fanfics about. I drew fanart for. Even my life motto is his quote!
:pointr: Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne - is the only "oldschool" shoujo manga I have, and I love it. it has angels, shiny things, flowy hair and ribbons. And love. Taught me to draw all that.
:pointr: Rangarok Online and various other MMOs - if I could count all the tings I drew because of playing a MMO, I think I would faint. Endless ideas and inspiration!
:pointr: CLAMP (especially Chobits and WISH) - I adore maybe not the artstyle of theirs, because I was never fond of overly slim and tall people, but I must say: the clothes, backgrounds and wings they draw are what I draw, too. I copied countless poses and cloth folds out of these.
:pointr: My fiance - also known as ~leniwykocur :D He's older, and he literally taught me drawing. Under his tutoring I studied shadows, anatomy and most importantly - the way of drawing eyes. I also pointed him out a few mistakes in female anatomy. We're both artists and endlessly learn from each other.
:pointr: Legend of Five Rings/Feudal Japan - kimonos, customs! Even my way of speaking (I agree with "hai!" rather than "yup" by heart) was modeled because of years of playing this RPG and therefore indulging into Feudal Japan way of living. I still like to draw kimonos.
:pointr: RPG - overally, fantasy also. My gallery if filled with RPG illustrations, so what I was playing at the time greatly influenced what I learned to draw.
:pointr: Malazan Book of the Fallen - despite the fact I have only recently started to read the series, my fiance sneaked it into almost any RPG campaign he was the GM of, so tropes, motifs and characters from Malaz are deeply ingrained in my way of imagining, thinking and storytelling.
:pointr: Webcomics - I can't remember when I started reading them, but as above: they have taught me more about creativeness and storytelling than anyting other. (The image used is from [link] the comic called "A Quartz Bead" by ~myszowor)
:pointr: Hayo Miyazaki - and his amazing movies. I love them, and I'm always astonished by the backgrounds! And the story!
:pointr: Naruto - surprisingly enough, has taught me character development. And influenced how I perceive action and action scenes.

To jest mapka wpływu artystycznego, prawda?
W ogóle całość naprawdę fajnie złożyłaś, chyba z powodu praktyk :P
